Imagenation Art & Activism Panel featuring MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

The event will be a lively evening of cocktails and discussion about art, its role in society and how it can be used as a tool for social change. This evening will include a sneak peak at scenes from the new Sundance award-winning film MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, directed by Ava DuVernay. Moderated by Moikgantsi Kgama of ImageNation, panelists include Ava DuVernay, Jamal Joseph - author of Panther Baby and former chair of Columbia University's Graduate Film Division, Image Activist Michaela angela Davis and a representative from the Center for Media Justice.
